Enamel-Strengthening Drinks

Water

Tap water is an excellent source of occurring fluoride, a tooth-healthy mineral that protects against tooth decay. 

Milk And Dairy

The calcium found in milk helps strengthen teeth enamel and promotes remineralization. It also promotes saliva production, which helps to wash away cavity-causing bacteria. 

Green Tea

Tea leaves also contain fluoride. Green tea in particular is good for oral health as it contains an antioxidant that prevents plaque from adhering to the surface of teeth.

Strawberries

These juicy berries are an excellent source of antioxidants and actually contain an exfoliating agent that helps to whiten teeth. We’re not saying you should replace your toothbrush with a strawberry, of course, as too much of the acid found in the fruit can do damage. But pop a couple strawberries in your mouth from time to time and you’re doing wonders for your oral health. 

Celery

Celery has a number of benefits for your teeth and gums. The rough, fibrous nature of the vegetable actually cleans the surface of teeth as you chew it. And the extra time you spend chewing it helps keep your gums strong and healthy. 

Leafy Green Vegetables

Kale, broccoli, and other leafy green veggies are excellent sources of vitamin K and calcium, both of which promote strong bone and tooth growth. 

Fish Oil

Look for canned sardines and other fish with edible bones. The vitamin D in these foods helps regulate proteins that help in the production of tooth enamel. 

Sesame Seeds

It’s not just milk and dairy that can be a good source of calcium. Sesame seeds are also good in this category and, like celery, are abrasive enough to help clean teeth while you’re eating.

Animal Protein

Go ahead and have that burger or piece of beef jerky. Animal protein contains phosphorus that, when combined with calcium and vitamin D, helps build strong teeth and bones.
