If you want to replace missing or broken teeth, dental implants are the perfect alternative to removable partial or complete dentures. At Soft Touch Dental clinic, we offer high quality implants at extremely affordable price. Dental implants can be used to replace any or all of your teeth. These are integrated with the bone and act as a base for your tooth providing support and stability.
Implants are artificial roots and teeth usually made of titanium which is surgically inserted into your upper or lower jaw bone by a professional dentist. Once the teeth are attached to these implants they restore or even enhance your natural smile and increase your comfort and confidence. Dental implants are extremely strong and durable. In rare cases they need to be re-aligned or replaced due to normal wear.

What Does The Dental Implants Procedure Involve?
A dental implant procedure would require you to pay a number of visits to our dental clinic in San Diego over several months. We start by taking X-rays and impressions (molds) of your jaw and teeth to determine the spacing available for the implant and also to understand the architecture of your bones and gums. Our professional dentist would surgically place the implants into the bone while the area is in a numb state. This is followed by a healing and integrating period that may last for up to six months. In certain implants that require a ‘post’ to hold the artificial tooth may call for a second surgery while in others the post and anchor are attached and placed on the bone in a single sitting.
Once you have undergone the healing process that lasts for several weeks we would place the artificial teeth in the post of the anchor. These teeth are made in our state-of-the-art dental laboratory using best practices. Implants generally require several fittings and hence this process often runs into one or two months.
Dental implants can last for a lifetime when you follow good oral hygiene, eating habits and pay regular dental visits. Once we have inserted the implants we would offer you proper care instructions.
